FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Are these simple to care for?
Most definitely. You can clean them with any type of scrubber, warm water and soap. We suggest seasoning them after every use, which is a simple process.
How do I season the pans?
It's simple — you care for them just like a cast iron pan. Before using them, bake them in an oven for 1 hour at 400°F with a thin coat of oil all over the pans. After that, spread a thin coat of oil on the cooking surface once the pan is clean and dry, then heat the pan until it smokes. Then you're good to go.
Any PFAS or other chemical coatings?
Not at all. Our pans are made of 100% carbon steel and nothing else. You create the natural non-stick layer as you cook and season the pans.
Are the pans induction compatible?
You know it. They work very well on induction cooktops. The pans are made of ferritic steel, so the current is induced at the cooking surface — meaning you don't need much energy to heat your pan. Medium heat becomes your new high heat.
What's the warranty & return policy?
There's a lifetime warranty on any manufacturer's defect on both the pan and the handle. Returns are accepted on unused products up to 30 days after purchase.
What are the shipping details?
We usually ship orders on Monday and Thursday of each week. Orders take 3–6 days for delivery once processed.
Where are the pans made?
Our frying pans are made in a family-owned factory in Wisconsin that's been making cookware in the same building since 1919. Our handles are made in Taiwan, also in a family-owned factory that traditionally makes high-end components for the ski and bike industries.
